Eric Celerio is an all-around virtuoso guitarist, pianist and songwriter/singer, fondly well-known in the New York Filipino community as “Maestro.”

He takes his musical gifts after his father, Levi Celerio, Philippine National Artist for Music and Literature.

As a little boy, Eric was frequently entertained by his father’s clever music-comedy acts with fellow artists hanging around their home in Pasig, Philippines.

Having a laughter-filled childhood influences his performances, light-hearted with a humorous touch.
At 15 years old, just a year after migrating to New York, Eric won second place after a Russian protege pianist at the prestigious Carnegie Hall Piano Competition. Years later, he would finish his Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Queens College, New York.
With the brutal competitiveness in New York’s music industry, only the toughest among the best of the best survive.
Now a seasoned musician after many years with premiere New York agency, Hank Lane Music, Eric returns to his father’s legacy, offering his kababayans a breath of fresh air with his timeless-inspired original melodies and highly imaginative arrangements.
